I had looked at doing something like this to bike tour the branches of the Prince Georges County Memorial Public Library System, but when I mapped it out, it was around 100 miles! :D (Hoping to join in for your tour!)

The one with all the quotes on the cover is my least favorite. 🤨

Haven’t read it yet, so I think the last one actually appeals to me most (with the two red circles). Interesting mix…

I don't think I've heard a single reader say anything bad about it.

I was also amazed at how there were so many great designs for this one book.

Have yet to read Ørstavik—-is there a title you would recommend as a starting point?

I adored Hild as a character and loved the book's descriptions. I got a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of characters and the pace slowed quite a bit in many parts. Overall, a very mixed relationship with the book, but always found myself drawn back to it.

A gothic/mystery feel told in a kind of decadent prose.

I dig this cover!

This looks a like a quicker read than HILD (which I read quite slowly recently). How is it?
Currently reading my first Shelley Jackson, RIDDANCE.
