The MSNBC firings are disgraceful. Just another sad day in the new regime. What's next? Jews? Disabled employees?

I remember the date of my oath: August 13, 1979, US Air Force. My military enlistment had an expiration date. My oath to the Constitution, to my country, did not/does not. πΊπΈ

I don't consider your comment very constructive, baby doll. Condescending, yes. Realistic and honest, no.

I had it in a portable CD player with headphones so we could listen to it. She loved it! She sang, badly, at full volume, and Momma and I marvelled and laughed. π

My mother loved the soundtrack and the movie. The CD was always in the car on our road trips. One year we went to Oklahoma to visit her great aunt and she introduced the CD to her big sister.

USAF EOD, Cold War version. Still proud.

I'm a bookworm just like my mom. Long ago she wouldn't let me read Fahrenheit 451. I just thought it was a book set in WW2. She finally let me read it, and it scared the sh*t out of me! It's just as ignorant to ban books as it is to be prejudiced based on religion or race. Books are knowledge.

EOD training prior to 1999 would have been at Indian Head NAS, Maryland.
