I also highly recommend the book "Queer Ducks (And Other Animals): The Natural World of Animal Sexuality".
It explores important parts of both scientistic and LGBT+ history, with thoughtful whimsy.

This is a call to action for aroace writers and creatives out there: be the change you want to see in the world.
