Current scuttlebutt: Paintet comes up after the All Star break. Mick Abel looks like a front line starter, so he will fill in for Nola. He pitched 11 1/3 innings in MLB before he gave up a run. Phils have an opportunity to trade a starter (likely Ranger) for bullpen help.

@rfctabs.bsky.social I hear you!! Baseball has its own language … and Bluesky does not all for translation from baseball into the King’s English. First score was a home run by the first batter. Then no score for 8 innings, thanks to a miracle catch. Then an embarrassing 9th for both pitchers.
