Thank you for your words. Repairs haven’t even got started yet in earnest despite the damage happening in April - the storms keep coming and preventing any crews from working.

I’m not used to that type of kindness. TLDR I’m big emotional about a name change being well received after going no contact with my entire bio family.

Made the change overnight practically, when my own family refused to make any attempt when I tried to change my name at 12 years old. Twenty years later they still deadname me when they try to contact me.
