A trope I love and a trope I hate ❤️ heroes banding together and being able to take on anything so long as theyre together. Beautiful. ❌️ The couple gets together, but in the sequel theyre broken up so we can replay the entire thing again and they get together again. Drives me up a damn wall.

Our family just finished watching The Return of the King, so in other words, I've been crying on and off for the last hour and am now emotionally wiped out. But! I can't think of a better political time to have rewatched this trilogy whose overriding message is: do NOT surrender to despair. Fight.
