Brb, gotta cancel my 30-doll Christmas preorder www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

Someone on Twitter posted that they had run into Philip Glass at their lower Manhattan polling place, saying nice things about Mamdani. The campaign put this up as a quote-tweet within the hour.

Kissinger, if he had only gone comatose two years ago and just woke up to this:

Trump throwing himself 79th birthday parade gives major Krusty vibes

I've seen too many people who are out and out pro-Iran solely because they are beefing with Israel, and like, what is wrong with yall??!?!

In 8 consecutive tests Tesla Full Self-Driving 13.2.9 ran down child mannequins while illegally blowing past a stopped school bus during our live FSD demo with #TeslaTakedown and #ResistAustin in Austin. We’ve warned Tesla for 2.5 years. They’ve done nothing. Why isn’t somebody in jail?

“Tesla’s driverless ‘robotaxis’ could launch in Austin as soon as June 22. But a demo in Austin today showed a $TSLA, manually driven to test its Full Self-Driving system, failed to stop for a child-sized dummy at a school bus—and hit it.” @cbsaustin @velez_tx

Really missing the days of uncrossed Rubicons.

“People need to identify themselves before they start lunging at people" You don't fucking say

An old saying among lawyers I once heard somewhere: a halfway decent prosecutor can convince a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich

thehill.com/policy/techn... It would be terrible for JD Vance if people started saying that he was colluding with Elon Musk to get rid of Trump so he could be president. That would really make Trump mad so make sure nobody repost this online to get that story going.

Sorry to step away from the catfight, but we’ve got a win! A federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s attempt to dismantle AmeriCorps halting the termination of grants and its volunteer network!

All I will say about today is these three words: Mutually Assured Destruction.

The single most important thing you can do now is poast about how Musk is secretly bragging to his friends about how much USAID funding he cut without Trump noticing to sabotage our country, and how owned he would be if Trump restored it all.

It's already been said again and again, but allow me to hear myself repeat it: This is so fucking stupid

Lots more of this, everybody.

The heartbreaking statement from Jonathan Joss’s husband about his death.

Curtis Yarvin, yet another one of Putin's useful idiots.

The new anti-oligarchy, pro-democracy movement should totally be called the HONK Party for this precise reason. Special bonus, we'd also get to call ourselves "Honkers."

If you believed in that sort of thing, it would seem like divine fate that "Hands Off / No Kings" makes the perfect acrostic for a HONK sign. #HandsOff #NoKings

Spot on Joni, and incidentally that "we" also includes your political career. Fuckwit.

Jared Isaacman has the chance to do the funniest thing ever: Cancel SpaceX's HLS contract "for convenience" and give that money to Blue Origin/Intuitive Machines/Firefly to build a reasonably-scaled human lander...

Starship is such an embarrassing failure. Nearly a decade of development (maybe more), six years of full scale testing, and still not even a single orbit to show for it. At this point it's about as sensible to expect any kind success from the program as it is from DOGE.

1. This Summer: "SLS vs. Starship (If You Still Don't Know Anything)" 2. SpaceX needs to rebuild the Starship program. This amount of failure is unacceptable. 3. It is safe to assume SpaceX is fundamentally uninterested in accomplishing HLS. NASA should investigate the contract.

Starship is like if a Howard Hughes with infinite money kept building increasingly shitty versions of the Spruce Goose and crashing them into the ocean one after another. SpaceX is so effed.

There's simply no good faith argument for maintaining the status quo here. Once you concede he committed no US crimes, which they have, what's the rationale for continuing his detention with American tax dollars? Why not let El Salvador prosecute and detain him themselves? No plane necessary

Congrats to president Trump for making a new friend who immediately while turning to leave kicked him in the nuts

See also the instant denial of any ability whatsoever to extract a single expatriated prisoner out of El Salvador, which is currently the administration's closest foreign ally while boasting 0.2% of our military strength and 0.1% of our GDP.
