I've been staying completely off social media and away from the news. I chose to hyper fixate on the outing my daughter and I are going on this weekend. This morning I finally caught up on some news. Everything is happening super fast. 😐

Just learned Biden commuted Leonard Peltier's sentence. Bless his soul. I'm in tears! I learned about this case over 20 years ago (probably my very first taste of activism) and I wrote a letter to him way back then just to tell him that new generations were learning his story and rooting for him. ❤️‍🩹
