Isn’t that an abridged version of how they reconciled TOS and TNG era Klingons?

I gotta catch up one of these days.

Flip it around? I’d like to think of Elon as the low budget poorly dubbed cheap foreign import version of Hughes.

To be clear, over the past year she’s been the contrarian who on occasion made me spitting mad with some of the pieces she’s written. Challenging positions we take for granted is healthy and good, she deserves this win for that and so many more reasons!

Who needs music when there’s someone talking about the Constitution/Federal law in the background!

Does anyone report on that kind of thing? Teams who are “punching above their weight class” in a moneyball sort of analysis? I’d be curious to see what that looks like.

I wouldn’t say no to that.

This got my attention. I’ve watched movies before just to look at the boats and I’ll surely do so again.

This is so good I have 2 responses: There was/is a bar in Moscow called “ducks and beavers.” I thought they were really trying to attract Oregonians as patrons. Oh yeah, that’s a real place, I’m sure it intersects with skate bike personal finance avenue.

Oh yeah, you know she’s got all 11 seasons of M*A*S*H on DVD plus the reunion.

That often cheapens a show or film for me, even as a guy who might appreciate it. Reasonable questions to ask beforehand: Is the show about stripping or breast cancer? Do their appearance move the plot forward in any way?

Pogo: “feels nice to wake up in a world with one less cat in it.” Vink: “dude, in this scenario you gotta understand, that coulda been us, we’re bite size critters!”

I know little about the guy except women once threw themselves at him, and allegedly he’s done some inappropriate/illegal things, so clearly Apple Music wants to make him a part of your “sexy song” family.

I think that’s an unplanned phenomenon with that show. When you’re watching they build toward this stuff, but you go to talk about it and you compress it for the sake of brevity, and it sounds out of this world.

It starts to creep in at the margins. It’s a silent invisible enemy that’s testing the perimeter for weaknesses. Stay alert.

I’m watching Northern Exposure for the first time and it’s clearly written by some literary folks. I’m deeply enjoying it. I’m also certain none of the writing is influenced by LLMs.

You bet your sweet ass I am.

I know the race is famous, little more. Would it be possible to change it rather than kill it?

That would have been a great DS9 episode, a Federation hearing to consider abolishing S31. Testimony by Bashir and others who were abused by the group.

Especially if it comes with pockets.

I’ve said it before, for a clandestine org. there were no surprises, misdirects, red herrings, etc. A better title would have been “mediocre A-Team but in space.” It horribly tarnished the presumptive competence of S.31.

I had to look it up, figure I’ll save someone else the trouble.

80%!? For a movie made after 2020? I’m impressed.

Welp, I gotta watch that one then.
