Remarkable assessment by an incoming German chancellor. “for me it is an absolute priority to strengthen Europe as quickly as possible, so that we achieve independence from the US, step by step.” www.dw.com/en/german-el...

I saw Doug and Lucy present at ResearchEd Cornwall and it was one of the best talks I’ve attended in years. Really smart thinking about implementation and change management. Absolutely steeped in the practicalities of real schools. Strong recommend.

Please do have a look at this and also share. Really excited for it! #edusky

What if we could redefine assessment? Using a precision planned curriculum to meticulously assess across a trust and inform learning. Join me and @lucygambier.bsky.social for our workshop at the Inspiring the Southwest conference next week. Keynote from the brilliant @jonhutchinson.bsky.social!

🚨 BREAKING: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Sunday that he is ready to resign from his post in exchange for peace or for NATO membership for Ukraine.

I'm not having Fraser Nelson playing dumb on the rise of racism on the right after years spent printing Murray, Liddle, Taki and Shriver. I literally had a DM row with him years ago where I said this would happen.

Very encouraging from @beckyfrancis.bsky.social. Agree with this: "But there also remain significant gaps and points of under-attainment. In practice, ‘high standards’ currently too often means ‘high standards for some’."

This is a great read - the libraries that Julian has known and loved. Made me think of the libraries, my old friends, that I grew up with.

👏👏👏 Excellent piece

The fundamental principles of Trumpism seem to be selfishness - he wants a tax system that benefits people like him, his approach to other people’s bodies and belongings is to reach out and take what he can, and his foreign policy is to rip what he can from other countries wherever he sees weakness.

Trump is the enemy. End of.

It’s half-term and whilst I don’t have leave )I know first world Trust leader problems) I am now obsessed with Ink Master. It’s so creative and wonderful and definitely now thinking of what I will get done. Got me with your best tattoos

Dark Pence is back.

Interesting to see the Reform numbers here. Patriots indeed

Boris Johnson’s comments today a timely reminder that the USA doesn’t hold a monopoly on opportunistic, selfish, Russian-backed assets

Today @moreincommonuk.bsky.social releases a deep dive into Progressive Activists, the most liberal/left leaning segment of the public. It looks at who this highly engaged group are, what they believe but also why their approach maybe leading to backlash against progressive causes.
