#ScreenshotSaturday #Gamedev Feedback is rare on submissions to small game jams, but the #Quilt #thetooljam feedback has been positive, so I'm planning to add an export feature and fix a bug. If it gets any more comments on itch, I may take it farther.

I recently participated in a few days at the tail end of #thetooljam and created an early prototype of something inspired by #bitsy that I call "Quilt". deathray.itch.io/quilt

This is already how games work if you are over 35

How can we compete when the peak was reached in 1995.

Me making video games that 1-2 people play... 🙏 Any "Cody" out there, I appreciate you!

Life has kept me busy so I didn't even start #thetooljam until there's less than 5 days left. Let's see if I can make something even vaguely fun to use.

What I like about role-playing games is that they allow you to act out power fantasies that you could never achieve in real life.

Big news in the app world

Tool Jam 5 started last night! itch.io/jam/the-tool... ...with the optional theme of "Hardware-inspired software". #thetooljam #gamejams #gamedev

Coming in June...

The #gamedevjs theme is Balance!

a dire wolf for these dire times

Upcoming game jams I have my eyes on: - Gamedev.js #gamedevjs (April 13) I can only participate in half of it though. - Tool Jam 5 #thetooljam (April 30) World needs another retro #fantasyconsole right? - 1bit game jam 6 #blackandwhitegamejam (May 3)

I no longer try to prepare too much for game jams. It's more fun to be surprised at the theme and struggle to come up with a game design. #gamejam #gamedev
