I think the only reasonable explanation is that they don't actually believe that they're witnessing the destruction of the American constitutional order. Their actions don't match the rhetoric. I wonder what they know that we don't.

For coding I would check out Claude Sonnet before making a decision.

My favorite part ... If Mint says it is up to date, it is. If W11 says it is up to date, you have no idea if there are zero or 150 updates remaining or how many reboots it will take to get the system current.

Oh no! A stern warning? From MSNBC? That should strike terror into..... Nobody on the right. Their constituency considers MSNBC hopelessly compromised and fundamentally only propaganda.

What are you talking about? Everyone knows Trump is Macron's puppet.
comment in response to post
How weird. I must have been hallucinating all those times. Nice gaslighting attempt. LOL

He's on record supporting vaccines. You need to hit F5 on your talking points. These are old and already debunked.

Oh dang. For a second I thought you meant Biden. I didn't realize until I saw the GOP mentioned..... Carry on.
comment in response to post
Yep. You're imagining it. It's a symptom of something or other.

It's pretty typical for politicians to ignore the big issues. #sigh

Isn't it amazing how as soon as someone who might actually change things gets nominated by a republican... People come out of the woodwork accusing them of things. Remember when the news media found people who would say that BK ran gang rape events? Aren't we tired of this nonsense yet?

Oh my! I didn't notice that it was part of a list. Totally my bad there. You're right. #embarassed

Wild that Obama was thinking about putting him in charge of the EPA. Ahhh, Obama. Secret Maga all along. Why did we never notice? Ohhhhh, I remember. Back then democrats were against regulatory capture and pro health. I forgot for a second there.
comment in response to post
Do you interact with Maga people? I've noticed folks getting into their ideological silos. I wouldn't want bluesky to turn into the left wing version of patriots.win

Gabbard is Samoan and a woman and Hindu. I assume then that you support her nomination. If you say no... You don't because of her policies, ideas, or history.... Then you agree that skin color is not all that relevant here.

Depending on the room. In others it starts the party. Everyone starts doing the Trump edition YMCA dance....

Not alone. Just definitely in the minority. Our goal now is to convince the majority there's a reason to vote for us in the next cycle. What new and exciting ideas should be proposed?
comment in response to post
You forgot: "not defenders of the status quo that the majority rejected by record numbers." Are you being paid to troll bluesky by big pharma, big ag, MIC, or the treasury? If not.... Why do their work for free?

Women routinely use the men's bathroom when the women's is full. This happens at large concert and sports venues all the time. I think the issue is men using the women's bathroom. That is still considered predatory behavior.

Since the GOP has the trifecta next year you're in favor of them packing it in the other direction, right?

If this is who I think it's about... Three years of investigation and not enough evidence to charge. Even The View had to issue a legal note/retraction. Time to get up to speed and stop chasing non-stories. You're falling for their strategy of making their opponents look unhinged.

Exit polls answer this fairly clearly. Border, economy, foreign policy.
comment in response to post
Well, if you put it that way.... Here's my take. If a politicians can believably tell the majority what they want to hear, then the politician will get the majority of votes. Harris had the problem of not being believable. And Trump was. It's not about truth VS lies. It's believable pandering.
comment in response to post
I think, in general it's harder to learn lessons from a win than a loss.
comment in response to post
You actually think the Democrats are better on the genocide issue??? I thought I've heard everything. That's like saying the GOP will do better on deficits.
comment in response to post
After the Harris people coerce the tech giants, do you really think anyone will ever hear about your protests?
comment in response to post
Statistically, you'll be less able to tell the difference in proportion to how much MSNBC you watch.
comment in response to post
Nothing I'm aware of.
comment in response to post
Couple hundred years of federal political history says you probably should be. 😉
comment in response to post
Politicians should say it. Yes. But citizens should never believe it when a politician says it.
comment in response to post
I would just throw this a "like" but I agree with it way too much for just that.

Sounds like being hunted for sport to me. Doesn't hyperbole get old after awhile? Seems like it would exhaust my adrenals after, like, a week.

If you look at the polling raw numbers, Trump is ahead by 5 or so. In order to get a Harris +1, the pollsters are weighting Democrat responders more heavily. They have various statistical reasons for doing so, but the raw numbers show Trump way out ahead.
comment in response to post
I'm convinced that the only way forward for the Democrat party is for Harris to lose. Otherwise they won't have any reason to open up dialogue on these issues. They've been fully captured by the neocons now.
comment in response to post
The whole party needs to lose so they can clean up their MIC addiction. This is madness.
comment in response to post
Sadly, no such thing.
comment in response to post
Things change fast around here. 😱
comment in response to post
Which polls? Most of them are weighted D+4 or 5. The raw numbers are much more in favor of Trump than what is being reported.
comment in response to post
If you're willing to stand up to this insanity and refuse to vote for her, you have my admiration. I've been seeing way too many "Harris no matter what" posts today. I must have lumped in yours by accident.
comment in response to post
Don't we all love the Cheney family? They're such great Americans. We don't think they're war criminals or anything. Just awesome people. Proud to be endorsed by them.
comment in response to post
That makes about as much sense as Trump voters terrified that it will be open seasons on Christians if Harris is elected.
comment in response to post
I thought it was hilarious that she owns a gun that is illegal to own in her state. Like... Did you not read your own laws? Or do they not apply to you or something? Nobody is above the law, etc.... So funny.
comment in response to post
They used all their messaging ammo. There isn't anything left. Time to just get out the vote and hope.
comment in response to post
So, I assume you're going to vote for her anyway, right? Or sit on the sidelines? If she gets in, the Democrat party cements itself with these policies. It only will rethink (maybe) if they lose. Your choice.
comment in response to post
Fact check is kinda meaningless propaganda at this point.

Ask yourself why we spend the most on healthcare and have the worst outcomes. Then think about how when we had the chance to pass universal healthcare we instead did a massive giveaway to insurance and big pharma. The Democrats aren't your friends. They've been showing their true priorities.
