Currently at my bedside.

Just sharing some bear vibes here (think the dog tag might give it away).

Not been here as often as I would, but I'm still around. Currently in the process of looking somewhere to live, given that the state of my current gaff is falling apart from the inside...and I've had a gut full of the antisocial element of the estate. Time to move on.

Currently playing in the gaff

Currently playing in the gaff. Totally different to what was playing at last night's boat party.

Another one to my small but tidy collection.

Some noise on before I switch off, pick up a pen and cover a page in my own font.

You could say I have a fetish for the horror genre.

Should last me the month.

Here's a thought; ten years ago a gay and inclusive rugby team formed. Went to a training session and fell flat just from throwing a ball. Not coming back, I thought. But numerous matches and tours later, I was one of three people awarded for a decades service.

That riff that I made up last night.

Made some noise/created another riff. It's a keeper, like the poem that I wrote earlier in the week. Nos da and all that 🤟🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Shame Papa and his Ghouls didn't visit Cardiff, but I'm looking forward to the new album.

Last poem I had published ten years ago. Still proud of it but reads like a period piece now because the area I wrote about has long since been redeveloped.

Like I need an excuse to put this on. Need a break from the heavier stuff now and again.

Spare a thought for dear JC, who wouldn't like to be reminded of what happened today some time ago. In fact, he'd probably have a good laugh at the expense of others whilst being the Messiah for a bit. A movie so funny that it was banned in Swansea.

Note to self - writing for half an hour is just as productive being in front of a screen for 3/4 hours.

Bought a few albums that were left over from RSD.

Look what dropped onto the mat whilst I was having breakfast

At the Bunkhouse, having a pre-gig pint or three. The flyers on the table might be my next lot of gigs.

Giving this a blast before seeing the band later.

TBT. Taken during lockdown during an online art class, sketching people posing between 5 and 15 minutes. This was one of few highlights of that period that got me through that difficult time; even posed myself, tattoos on show and the results were fantastic.

To the neighbours and visitors of the block - please don't bang on my front door and drag me into your mad verbal, drug and alcohol fused war of words, especially at this time of evening. Some of us who are stuck living try and actually live normal lives, despite as bad as it might seem to you lot.

Thought I'd share some more noise with you lot. Hope you are well 😊

This Disney version of me, 🤔

This was my battle against the black dog this afternoon. Recording drum parts, cutting/editing, copying/pasting, it's a learning process that's taken a while but trial and error are good teachers. Oh, all five tracks are drums rather than one take of a whole piece.

Thought I'd cheer myself up by putting some decoration on the walls of my creative space. Been wanting to do it for a while, though since the black dog is on my path again, this was a brief distraction.

What was sketched on Thursday has been completed this afternoon/evening. What can't be expressed in words, only art will do.

To quote Ice Cube, today's been a good day

Thought I'd share some of my brand of noise with you. Honestly wish I was in a band, but doing these videos is the next best thing.

Didn't go to the open mic/poetry evening as planned, but spending hours in front of a few blank pages (both notebook and sketch pad) with a few incense sticks burning and music playing was just as enjoyable. The piece pictured is a work in progress.

Five years ago today I lost a mate. Anthony Harding, known as John Blood when he fronted both Wild Pussy and Religion, was taken from his husband Philip and the music and art that he wanted to create. Today I'm celebrating his life. In the selfie, from left - Anthony, myself and Philip.

Didn't take long for Elon's tank to be featured as a baddie in Tekken.

I can go along with this

Hadn't seen this film in years, and this evening I decided to have a much needed viewing of this hidden. Still hits the nerve like I watched it for the first time twenty five years ago.

It was my father's birthday yesterday. Made sure we had a pint or two.

Still battling through, though I managed this today.

Note to self - you're trying too hard to get over this repeated black dog visit. You admitted years ago that the structure that you lived by was no longer functional yet paths have been blocked and alternatives seem unfulfilling. It's come to that point where riding it out isn't an option now.

Mental health has dominated my life, so anything in the news about the subject grabs my attention. However this particular issue tends to be repeated with no solution in sight.

Couldn't let this day pass with something Irish coming through the speakers or on screen. All that's currently missing is a pint of the black stuff.

Things to do - write, make noise, write more, drink coffee, make more noise, draw... something like that.
