In ‘92 m, the Rifle Line decided to see if we could do tosses (and catches) in a tall, dense cornfield. It was wild! I have eerie photos of rifles above the cornfield and you can’t see who tossed them.

For real! We were all exhausted and cold! It was like 40F in the sun. The guard didn’t have gloves so they went and found us some. The parade was running so behind and we didn’t hit Pennsylvania Ave until it was dark! I got frostbite, Mono, and Strep from the whole experience. Worth it though.
