21) Wings of Starlight by Allison Saft Yeah I’m still crying, if you grew up on the tinkerbell movies, this is the love story between lord milori and queen clarion. It’s bittersweet and a very good story about clarions rise to being queen. Also good if you just want some nostalgia. #booksky

20) Immortal Dark by Tigest Girma Yes I read this again even though I read it two months ago lmao, it’s a really good book and I love the psychology of the characters and the explorations of monsters, humanity and transformation! Plus vampire books are fun! Also it was my book club book #booksky

19) First-Time Caller by B.K. Borison A slowburn, pining romance about a romance hotline talkshow host who has fallen out of love with love and a female mechanic who’s a hopeless romantic. Super cute and I adored this book. Highly recommend if you want something funny, sappy and mild spice #booksky

18) Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer Sunshine x Grump slow burn comedy romantasy. Told in third perspective with dual POV and very funny moments. No spice but very cute story about a villain who falls for his admiring assistant. Will purchase next book #booksky

17) The Games Gods Play by Abigail Owen A story intertwined with Greek lore and twisting it to fit its narrative. It’s a romantasy novel with the love interest being hades but it’s more so a story about a mortal girl finding her self worth while surviving death games ran by the Gods. 5⭐️ #booksky

16) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green I have never read a John green book despite owning 3 of them. This book was beautiful and is added to my top books. It’s sarcastically funny and a realistic view on death as well as those close to death. A bittersweet love story that made me cry. #booksky

15) Night Shift by Annie Crown It’s a very cliche romance story, however it is enjoyable. It’s pretty easy to read and I like that it pokes fun at the tropes while also using said tropes. It’s also pretty funny. If you like romance, you’ll like this book about a bookworm and an athlete. #booksky

14) The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner A historical fiction book following 3 pov’s at different points in time. A overarching theme is men and infidelity and it does have some triggers like SA with a minor mentioned for one of the leads. It was okay for a one time read #booksky

13) The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky This is my first read of this book and honestly I think younger me needed to read this. Cause I was crying throughout it. It has a lot of triggers so discretion is advised but I think this is a book everyone should read once. 10/10 #booksky

12) Babylonia by Costanza Casati This is a Historical Fiction novel based in ancient Asseria and following the backstory of Queen Semiramis. One of the few female rulers in this time period. It’s heavy on the history and very political and a steady slow read. Interesting read. #booksky
