Ooh, I see it's available at my local library. Might have to go check it out.

Triumph is one of my absolute favourite bands. I'd heard bits and pieces from them over the years...and then someone gave me "Thunder Seven" and "Sport of Kings" (and tickets to their tour concert in Halifax) for Christmas and that was it. Hooked.

I used to live across from one of their evening meeting spots, and watching 100s of them fly in was a high spot of any day.

When "Idiocracy" turns out to be a documentary...

Google indicated right from the get-go that they were going to cave and include "Gulf of America" for this INTERNATIONAL body of water for everyone globally, which is absolutely stupid and, yes, a cop-out IMO.

Temu is the new Dollar Store, so you're not wrong either way.

IMO if there's anyone you can "safely" bully, it should be Hitler.

Why do people assume that you get a tattoo so that others can see and enjoy it when maybe, like yours, it's for you. Love the tattoo and its inspiration. ❤️

Baby Shark or The Song That Never Ends. 😄

Looks like the tail end of a fever coat. If so, they'll disappear eventually as her adult hair comes in fully.

I'm terrible at IDing most of them, too. Some are easy to identify, like 32 Chunk and his very visible face scars. But I generally need a cheat sheet. I'm thinking one of the bears on the lip might be 910 because I swear I saw 909jr (Bean) peeking in at the bottom left.

I can't see images of Devil's Tower without thinking of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". Always found it remarkable looking.

Ah, it's not a Brooks Falls video if you don't hear "Hey, bear." at some point. 😄

Your image alt text (on both pics) is perfection.

Those are lovely photos. Bittersweet but lovely. ❤️

I'd always thought it was "rises like an Empress", which also doesn't make sense. LOL

Chunk is another bear who is easy to ID if you can see his face. Very distinctive scars. I'm currently hung up on revisiting the sad tale of poor 130 Tundra. That horrific skull injury she got made her pretty distinctive as well. I'm amazed she lived as long as she did.

Ha, I can only recognize Grazer when she's grazering. There are way too many blonde bears at Brooks Falls, especially in the Spring.

That is fantastic. Nicely done.

I love this photo so much. There's something about fog that makes a scene that much more peaceful and soothing. That looks like a very content bear.

Ha, just read the alt tag on the photo and wanted to say that it's a really good description. Not all alt tags are, so great job there.

I love the POV of this shot -- tricks your mind at first.

This is an absolutely gorgeous photo. Whereabouts in Alaska was this? (Nosey people will be nosey. LOL)
