I remember a lot of hand ringing by the business class liberals about Harris’s wealth tax idea. The anger and frustration about the idea of the rich having to pay 2% of their wealth. Seems likely those people would have been better off paying the 2% than the 10% the trump economy has required.

Every time I watch Hard Fork, I can’t help but notice @caseynewton.bsky.social ‘s hands. Those things are powerful, expressive. The kind of hands Donald Trump wishes he had.
