I remember coming up with that episode and thinking it wouldn't work with myself reviewing. I always wanted to try another character and Bobcat fit the bill on how weird it was. Midway, I feared hearing his voice would get strained; hence Brainy Bobcat. 😆

I agree and, much like you, I still have a soft spot for this movie. They should have kept in one of the cut scenes where Danny talks to Slater about his dead father. That would have enhanced things a little bit.
