Apparently they had to march there all the way from the Pentagon, too

Well that's a jumpscare

They did but they chickened out on the name

Actually it was by a group opposed to Tesla and the robotaxis

I agree with you, but I'd definitely prefer Konami enlisted someone like Nightdive rather than do it themselves, since the "HD Collection" remasters of 2 & 3 were such a mess

I'm so glad they memory-holed the awful animated series

Speaking of tax scams, I do think it's wild that when Uwe made the 3rd one, he basically went "this is a lot of work, I should get my money's worth" and threw together Bluberella using the same cast, crew, sets, costumes, etc. once the initial movie was shot

Yeah, there were definitely some groups that I think operated in that space just because they had a captive audience 😂

Do you remember that weird period in the 90s when there were Christian industrial groups? I remember a few of them actually being pretty good, but I think they were still "out there" enough that they weren't acceptable to really conservative parents

Got me thinking about the old Monty Python architect sketch

The original name MCA released it under in the late 70s was DiscoVision, but fortunately they came to their senses and renamed it LaserVision in the early 80s

Looking forward to seeing this in Final Destination 7

I always thought there was some sort of cosmic justice to Bill Murray being annoyed by Lorenzo Music voicing him in the Real Ghostbusters cartoon, and then Murray eventually ending up basically doing a Lorenzo Music impression in the Garfield movies

Forgot Ray Liotta's character was just the narrator but it's this scene in Goodfellas I was thinking of (repost because previous link had an unfortunate channel name)

Call it the Ray Liotta principle

You just have to work like Ernie Bushmiller

Apparently Korean style fried chicken is having a moment in Glasgow so you might have some interesting options at least

You can play it online here: www.retrogames.cc/gameboy-game...

Maybe I'm over selling it (probably) but despite their horrific moments there's a lot of emotional honesty that helped me get through some tough moments, Cat Lady especially

Have you ever played any of the releases from Harvester Games? I've got a soft spot for all of their work

Okay, if you're not familiar with Harvey Fierstein you should really watch Torch Song Trilogy. It's dated, of course, and limited by what was acceptable in a mainstream movie in 1988, but it's still delightful youtu.be/rdmPoTTbigw?...

If I'm saying something you already know I apologize, but The Chaser is an Australian satirical website / comedy group, so treat this like an article from The Onion

So I did an honest Google search but this abomination came up and I have to share it

Anyway, last I'll post on this but please enjoy this compilation of comedian Sean Lock (RIP) consistently showing up Jimmy on his own game show youtu.be/wrpgfptt9mU?...
comment in response to post
Even watching a few minutes of his stand up it really is clear how being on those shows he was usually surrounded by much funnier comedians who made him look more talented than he was
comment in response to post
Yeah, Jimmy's spent so much of his career on game shows / panel shows that he doesn't really have much of a comedic persona beyond that, I guess he just decided "oh this is the way he wind is blowing" and thought Ricky Gervais Lite was somehow a winning formula

Was it the same carrot?

And those 2 episodes could be yours for the low, low price of $45 in 1996 dollars

Maybe it's because it's technically banned but the uncut version of Braindead keeps coming up for sale in Germany in licensed and bootleg versions over the years

After spending way too much time zooming into it I think there are a few sad pieces of chicken on the bottom one

I remember driving there once in my 20s once shortly after winter and there was a stretch of freeway where all the lines were gone (basically scraped up by the snowplows). It was... Something

Yeah I don't remember all the details but I know she never carried a gas can in the trunk again
comment in response to post
That reminds me, I had a friend in high school (back in the 90s) whose dad always insisted she drive with a full gas can in the trunk for emergencies. One day she was driving some friends home and it tipped over and spilled... All over their backpacks 💀

I was scrolling through figuring someone would've posted it

The ideal (?) Steve Rogers
comment in response to post
Yeah, I mean this would've been on the level of the Captain America movie starring JD Sallinger's son so I doubt anyone would've even seen it
