I'll talk about that Anne Frank example with my students as an introduction to the technology. I do want to instill a critical eye in them when it comes to AI tech.

I would definitely stray far, far away from sensitive topics. I figured a dead philosopher would be mostly innocuous. I also got ChatGPT to write the chatbot's prompt with very intentional constraints.

I look forward to seeing how my students do with them. I prompted the bot not to answer questions unrelated to the project at hand. I'll see how that goes.

I'm experimenting with a few strategies this year. They're by no means perfect, but students appreciate the fact that I'm at least actively discussing AI with them.
