My local cat shelter gave their new kittens a bunch of pride-related names for litters born in June, and sent out an email afterward about changes in their naming policy which implied they wouldn't name kittens in a similar manner again. I'm trying to process how I feel about a cat named "Twink".

So the Mrs and I foster old cats from our local shelter who don't want to be around other cats. Ursula passed after we had her for over a year, after a couple of months we felt ready to foster again. We've had Luna for a few weeks, just found out her kidneys are shot beyond recovery chances.
