I'm SLT but I wear either a pair of chino like trousers with a casual long sleeved button up sometimes fleeced long sleeve shirt; or a pair of elasticated chino looking like trousers (aka posh joggers) with a polo shirt every day, with a pair of skechers.

Nearly 1/3rd of my current class are on the SEN register. Wildly different children. As a question, the above would be totally useless in helping me actually meet any of their needs.

Such a helpful blog, thankyou- we've been following your approach to WCR for a couple of years, but I tweaked my lessons this week after reading this and I could see the difference in engagement from the kids.

Have been doing this approach after training from Ashley and we have found that it really is an effective way to teach reading. Love the fact that I sometimes plab lessons based on children's or my interests.
