Was also happy to learn how many of the Bloomsbury group played (or at least dressed up as) Cleopatra when students/young: Lytton Strachey, Angelica Bell, Virginia Woolf... (Ottoline Morrell: ‘Virginia was hardly suited to pose as Cleopatra’)

Yes, I found myself wishing for a 90-min chamber version. It's clearly written with love - and there are people who adore it - but you have to wait around for the diamond lines and scenes.
