Ok, I guess this answers the question ”when will we see a new version of Dall-e”… ;-)

It’s important to be aware of the limitations so that you understand when the tools are useful and when you shouldn’t trust them blindly. www.cnet.com/tech/service...

This is pretty useful stuff, try it!

That’s what you get when hype transcendens reality. Ouch

It’s easy to take the lead it seems, but you keep it for a month or so before something else shows up thats even better.

That’s a pretty intetesting observation.

This Mind Evolution approach is yet another way to squeeze more intelligence out of LLMs. Every such step means we are getting closer to reliable AI agents.

Few have access to this tool, but its a peek into the future where AI is capable enough to be trusted in (at least in some) Agentic workflows.

Interesting, there will be implications for sure. Mostly postive hopefully, but inevitably some that will halt releases of popular US models too which will surely be seen as an inconvenience when it happens.

Chinese LLM #deepseek sure has been trendig these past weeks. It also didn’t take long for the first ”jailbreak” to appear and reveal its inner workings in this case the system propmt) www.darkreading.com/application-...

LLMs Hallucinations are getting less obvious but its still important to remember that they are not “fact machines”.

Hard to ignore this story. #deepseek performance and claims of cheap training was not good for #nvidia who has been pitching the need for huge amounts of compute. www.cnn.com/2025/01/27/t...

As an AI enthusiast, I do use several services. One of them is Google's #Gemini and recently they added a #DeepResearch mode to Gemini. You don't get a whole lot of instructions for how to use it, so here's a useful link that talks about it. www.popsci.com/diy/how-to-u...

Lot’s of reactions out there to #JoeRogan interview with Meta boss Mark #Zuckerberg. A lot of semi interesting things discussed but I got the impression Mark doesn’t really know how to answer the question about job displacement that AI will cause. What will people do that’s still worth paying for?

Not surprising, but it is interesting. DeepMind (Google) are one of the best AI teams in the world. Im sure the outcome will be plenty useful in a lot of different areas. Their video model (veo2) already ”understands” physics of the world in interesting ways. www.theverge.com/2025/1/7/243...

Are you ready for change? 2025 will bring it whether you’re ready or not. I will keep focusing on #AI because that is where I see most of the momentum coming. The theme for this year will be for businesses to figure out how to fit AI #agents into their workflow and teach the humans how to use them.

Happy New Year!
