I would add that it was the perfect storm of Drive to Survive having their new season of content coming out right as COVID lockdowns pushed people to look for content. Drive to Survive was promoted heavily right around same time as Tiger King and Sourdough started to bore people.

This is also my belief in luxury products and universities. If the item is supposed to be so amazing, why are you making a 30-second ad during this football game or paying an influencer to shill it next to an advertisement for Squarespace?

My grandfather was a proud WWII vet but an extreme racist. I once decided to pose the question, "When you were fighting in Europe, were you ever conflicted between your love of nation and your love of hate?" I was never allowed back for Christmas or Easter.

The council member needed to stop her after the first use of the word. Then, when she stated they could not take her freedom of speech, the member should have said, "My freedom of speech is to call you a bigoted moron. Now step down."
