I even had one of them laugh at me down the phone a few weeks back in a "you must be joking" style. Life saving medication lads. Anyway, I have found one that gives a shit and, guess what, it's a small operation that wants the business. The big players can get in the sea.

Our whole system of medicine is based on the nobility of suffering. You can only be treated once it has been deemed you have suffered the correct amount. Anything else is a moral failing on your part.

Maybe. As a new diabetic they left me high and dry. I am disgusted with the standard of care I have received. Everything seems like a battle which, when you are recovering from an operation and have a new chronic condition as a result, is not what you need.

As someone who has been continually failed by the NHS over the last 6 months I'm not sure that's a bad thing. It's brilliant until you actually need it and then it's shit. As a card carrying leftie it kills me to say this but there we are.

Took me weeks after surgery earlier in the year to get back to sleeping normally. I couldn't even sleep in my own before for some reason. Had to migrate to the couch in the middle of the night. Don't worry, it'll come.
