Lovely afternoon and thanks to @carmelbones.bsky.social for inviting me on! Some inspirational people and work being done.

It's coming!

Comparisons to the 30s were labelled as lazy by some in the past couple of years; it's not lazy, it's unfolding before us.

So on my Tuesday at home looking after a two year old goblin... I have made some lovely fresh fish fingers. How much will he eat? My prediction is none...

Again @labourlewis.bsky.social stands out from the crowd and shows a moral backbone sadly missing from the current 'labour' party. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Having the annual "the spare room is horrific" tidy and now loving looking at my globe from my childhood. Think it's still up to date...

I fell and accidentally went into a national trust bookshop , inadvertently purchasing these beauties...

Another wonderful #historyteacher person joins the revolution! bsky.app/profile/rass...

Want to hear more about my new research on migrants' lives in Elizabethan London? I had a great time talking to Emma Briffett from the BBC History Extra podcast about strangers, city spaces, gossip, and the diversity of sixteenth-century London.

And so his journey to become a Norwich City legend begins...

Something you may be able to help with... Did the man eating turtle Sciron kicked his victims towards have a name!?! @theclassicslibrary.bsky.social

The Sign episode of Bluey.... Breaks me EVERY. TIME. It's utterly ridiculous.

A long time ago, in a palace complex quite far away....

Me first and the Gimme gimmies last night were absolutely incredible in Norwich. Just what I needed at this time of year in the dark days of December!

🚨 NEW: The appointment of Heidi Alexander now means the Cabinet, for the first time in history, is now entirely state-educated [@georgeeaton]

bsky.app/profile/did:... I think I've managed to created a feed.... Possibly. Should include the #historyteacher and #historyeducation tags.

"Researchers has unveiled new insights into the victims of Pompeii, challenging longstanding assumptions about the identities and relationships of those entombed by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 CE." #archaeology #history archaeologymag.com/2024/11/dna-...

So far today, I have experienced a poonami of epic proportions, battled with a two year old to correct the aforementioned issue, got soaked walking elder to school and now have losty new milk jug to a toddler that believes they are some kind of hipster barista. It has only just gone 9am.

Just given this an update to include some exciting new #historyteacher people! If you’re going to be tweeting (?) about history teaching and I’ve missed you out, let me know! go.bsky.app/BTJ8SaJ

Grown up night out at the theatre. Eek. Birdsong...

Finally shut down my twitter account. It was fun, then got a bit too fascist.
