Yup - dignity flies away! I remember apologising profusely to the nurses but them reminding me that I didn't get any of it on them.... and bedding, floors and walls can be washed 🫣

If the temp and rash are moving in the right direction, that's the sign you need x keep battling on - it's a bloody long slog. Sending love and hugs for chemo day -4?

We had a teacher at school who adored orange smarties. I think the entire school (including other teachers) used to drop theirs into a glass jar on his desk. I often wondered how he didn't pick up some terrible germs! Perhaps it was the power of food colourings back in the 70s/80s 🤣

Svigermor only has the overhead lamp on at middag at the table. Add all the side lamps with Christmas stuff and it takes ages to turn them off! My English mother goes full on overhead lamps 🤣

Wishing you strength for that wall climbing. We're rooting for you x. Just think, by the time you get to next Christmas- it's bring on the stinky cheese - and no more bullet/ ammo falafels 😆

They should be having a serious chat with the 'donor's' advisers and mental health team. It's a huge thing to donate and it looks like they didn't do their homework or prep. I am so cross on your behalf - so close...

Starving artist garret! Oh if only my office could be up there looking out. I'd get no work done!

I also read about this in Robert Ryan's Dr Watson books - think it was the second one where he trials it on the front line in WW1.

You could hang baubles off the horns or those little cannula clips.. I find that my hair is too thin to wear a headband without a soft hat.

I wish you so much luck - and pj's - on your trialling adventure. I have my fingers and toes firmly crossed that it does what it should and not only kicks yours but others' cancer ❤️

The Greatcoat by Helen Dunmore. Had to sleep with the light on for a bit. The Woman in Black by Susan Hill.

Driven 4 hours across the country to spend the weekend with my mum, and finding myself eating ice cream and meringues (that were for Sunday lunch pudding) watching rubbish on the tv.... happy 😊
