Last week I thought I was losing my dad. Tonight he is home and getting to sleep in his own bed. I’m thankful to the doctors that pushed for surgery to stop the bleeding. Now we just wait for the biopsy results.

We are taking care of my dad’s dog while he is in the hospital. Our neighbors set off fireworks all night with grand finales at 12 and 1. It was excessive. We just spent an hour cleaning up our kitchen floor bc the poor pup had a few stinky accidents from all the stress. #happynewyear

So pup adoption plans going on hold. My dad was taken to the hospital this morning. Since I’m still not feeling good, can’t be with him. I just want him to be ok. His blood pressure was low and he’s had a bleeding issue since last week. They might have to give him a transfusion.

All I want for Xmas is to feel better and possibly adopt a new dog. We thought he was adopted but we missed their voicemail. So tomorrow we call to find out more and possibly meet him. He’s bigger than me at 115 pounds but a sweet golden. His name is Thor! If it’s meant to be, it will happen. 🐶
