I don't think he has an appreciable amount of sway with American voters at this point. The left doesn't like him for obvious reasons, I think the right has left him in the past because they realized that the wars were a mistake and he doesn't subscribe to their brand of grievance politics.

I figured it was something like that, and that they're using lists like this to share that information with each other without tipping off the people on the lists.

I think that MMA, fundamentally, is a sport, and people who do it are primarily focused on performing well within the rules and competition meta. But, I don't think that makes is uniquely bad. Single-style martial arts still have things like point sparring, McDojos, and fitness-focused programs that

Yes. I'm pointing out that "discourse" is often just low effort trolling by giving an example of the low effort trolling that I commonly see. I'm not sure how else you'd want me to get that point across.

When Bluesky users criticize Trump, they really should embrace those who provide thoughtful counterpoints, such as "Cry more, libtard!" with a gif of Trump jerking off two invisible giraffes.

It's comfortable, easy to get on, and I couldn't smell the resin fumes while I was using it so it seems to work. My one complaint is that it uses proprietary filters, but the PD-101 uses generic. These go on sale frequently, they were BOGO last week, I think I paid $70 for mine.

My friend who's a combat vet who's worked with respirators specifically recommended something with an impact resistant lens and OV cartridges. I don't wear glasses and haven't been tear gassed, but I picked one of these up, and have used it for cutting tree branches and pouring resin.

My big takeaway about these is they changed the terminology from non-lethal to less-lethal, as they do still kill people on occasion.

My friend who used to for people with respirators as part of her job recommended that I keep a razor with mine and shave before putting it on.

Granted, paintball masks don't have an airtight seal around the eyes, so that might effect this, but in either case it's worth doing some testing before you need to use it.

Some people I used to play paintball with wore glasses under their masks, and had some issues with the glasses fogging up. I'm pretty sure that anti-fog solution worked on this to some extent, but the ones who could wear contacts usually did.

I'd like to see someone swerve to avoid something while using this, splash themselves with hot oil, and then freak out about the fact that their whole body is burning while they're operating a 3000lb vehicle moving through a populated area.
Actually, now that I think about it, this sounds bad.

That's not what I said though. If your odds of winning are 1 in 100, your odds of losing every time it's .99^n for n attempts. Each subsequent attempt brings the odds closer to 0%. Once you hit 10,000, you're at about a 2x10^-42 % chance.

A reasonable person in his situation would have known. But, based on his pattern of self destructive behavior, I do actually think that Lindell has some mental illness that causes him to believe his own BS. Although I think that's unlikely to help him in court.

I do find it pretty funny that there's a big overlap between this group, and the group that's deeply concerned about the idea that white people could become minorities a few generations.

By using terms like "alpha" to describe themselves as a different type of man who's more masculine, they're implicitly endorsing the idea that gender exists on a spectrum.

Mapquest was around when I first started driving, but I still managed to wind up in Jersey one time, because my brain couldn't quite multitask reading while driving, so instead of taking 676 west to 76 east, I took 676 east.

I did miss this nuance. However, if I'm reading txlawyer's comment correctly, there is an exception to this if the statements are related to a matter of public interest, which it seems like they are.

Yeah, I think it's unlikely to work. My guess is that Lindell still refuses to admit he was wrong, and the lawyer is just doing the best he can with what he has.

One of the elements you have to prove with defamation is that the defendant either knew the information was false, or acted with reckless disregard for the truth. It seems like he's trying to defend that aspect.
