In 1990, I noticed the Simpsons were breaking taboos by being very course. It was unusual, offensive, but I think that was its pull for people; allowing us to express our inner slob, unapologetically. I felt it lowered the level of public discourse.

Assuming someone was here illegally, how can they be shipped to a foreign prison? Shouldn't deportation involve removal from our borders, not punishment forever? I don't understand this for any of those deported.

It's not just hard earned; it's hard saved. All the things we didn't buy for ourselves, so we could save for our future and that of our kids. Saving our own earnings, instead of trying to get a hold of others'.
