I've had people try to pin me down and shove meat in my mouth, sneak meat or animal products into my food without telling me, and threatened with sexual violence over my diet choices so again: this doesn't shock me at all, in this era of Weird Aggro Gender Shit

we were in the gifted program & she was treated rather horribly by our teachers because she wasn't on the Ivy League track (neither was I, but I was treated notches better) and I just want to take those racist teachers by the shoulders and shake them: CAN YOU COMPREHEND WHAT IT TOOK TO GET HER HERE

her house was just up the street from my childhood home. it's very pretty but they always call it a "farm" even though it was a two-acre suburban plot that couldn't be farmed for literally anything

cannot recommend enough just… going to the JP/equivalent and not telling anyone. it was so great. we had to go to the registrar and all these people there registering their babies were congratulating us and it was great to celebrate with strangers.

I have been to exactly one (1) music festival and it was meant for old people (here at the Rose Bowl) and it was also filled with gourmet food stalls and relatively nice bathrooms and it was still HORRIBLE.
