3 of my long, thin 'sun' series of paintings. Painted on Italian hand made paper which is - I confess - a bit of a nightmare to paint on. Very unforgiving and disintegrates if you try to correct your drawing with a rubber. But I loved how they turned out.

Regents Opera are killing it with their Ring Cycle! Die Walküre tonight blew my mind. If Act II was intense, Act III was 80 min of pure poignancy–Wotan and Brünnhilde’s complex emotions laid bare. Stunning performances from Ralf Lukas and Catharine Woodward, who had me welling up with every line! 💕
