I think it's always the hardest slump to get over when you realize a franchise you used to love just isn't the same anymore. It's fine when the company keeps fucking people over cause you got a real good reason to leave the bandwagon. But when it just... changes on you? Where do you even go?

The continuous talk of FROM’s stagnation has continuously reminded me of the pain I felt over Deep Down completely collapsing. Capcom had a blueprint for an incredibly engaging multiplayer dungeon crawler that felt like a hybrid of Demons/DS1 control schemes with Resident Evil-tier claustrophobia.
