Of course ending birthright citizenship is blatantly unconstitutional. So is a third term in office. But I thought the same thing about presidential criminal immunity and holding office after inciting an insurrection. The obvious is not so obvious anymore.

Hypothetical Question for @hcrichardson.bsky.social @marcelias.bsky.social or any constitutional law expert: if the GOP can’t decide on House Speaker by 1/20, and they can’t certify the election and Trump therefore couldn’t be inaugurated - who would be acting POTUS? There’s no VP, no Speaker, etc..
