So why don’t you stand for political office, get elected and put everything right? You so obviously deserve a wider audience than Bluesky can give you.

10 days and still got something- symptoms keep changing and an added bonus of feeling apprehensive occasionally.

I see the “why hasn’t the Labour Party fixed everything yet” brigade are out. 14 years of Tory incompetence and you expect an immediate fix. “It’s difficult to drain the swamp, when you’re up to your ass in alligators” seems appropriate. Easy to pontificate, so tell us what you would do?

I am not sure whether this is true but I do hope so. The letterhead of the flat earth society states “they have members around the globe”.

Blister packs- useless when you have any dexterity issues. Hadn’t thought about brain transplants -see one, do one, train one. So that’s tomorrows to do list sorted🤪

Have you ever listened to 5live on a regular basis? More likely it will morph into gbnews with tories still in key positions within the bbc

I Met one of those “believers” whilst walking Zog. He was pointing at the contrails in the sky. I decided not to engage.

I got a round robin xmas letter saying they had been flooded. I said you shouldn’t live in Morten-in-Marsh. The clues in the name. Was not sent another letter….

Good documentary on iplayer about the director -Peter Kominsky. Funnily enough I can’t get into the books- it’s the writing style me thinks.

It would drive me nuts!

Brilliant tv, but probably too slow for the tictok generation . Watch “smileys people” not quite as good but it does have a little known actor in it- Patrick Stewart.

When the tories tried expanding pharmacist services I suggested to my local pharmacy I could set up a transplant service for him. He laughed. I was serious, I’ve watched at least 20……..

“Is the Pope catholic?” Like “ursine…..” much better than “do bears shit in the woods” “Motoring organisations expect traffic delays during Christmas getaway”

Did you suggest this to the previous government? If not why not?

Unfortunate turn of phrase “concrete”. 15 minute cities is the way to go - oh hang on the far right say that is a restriction of civil liberties!

You wouldn’t like my two cats as well? They are being particularly annoying today.

there is a three syllable word in the headline so obviously not pandering to their usual audience…….

It’s a good job we know that we can cure a viral infection by drinking bleach and shining a bright light down the windpipe.

A German friend gave me was surprised I had never seen it. At least they don’t have to put up with the Queens/Kings speech. Given a choice I know which I’d rather watch.

Let’s face it, the only way you can resolve the current nhs wait list is to utilise private healthcare whilst you work to get the nhs to 2010 performance levels and hopefully beyond.

I had a similar issue- drank 10 pints of beer and a cheese sandwich. Bloody cheese sandwich made me puke.

I got taken to a concert of theirs in the early 80’s, boring but hey “the things you do for love”.

The power of the tobacco companies. Now reaping the “benefit”of vaping with no ban on advertising. Look out for toy vapes in Xmas stockings.

BBC lowering the bar again.

Haven’t watched it yet but will be disappointed if it doesn’t follow the film end. I will also be pissed if he doesn’t shoot his brother in law.

I wonder if one of the wealthiest families in the country could get their staff to look behind their numerous sofas cushions for some loose change to pay for it? Or make them pay inheritance tax- And then we may consider paying for it. Nope!!!

Difficult one- logic says she has something wrong with her with her changes of behaviour. Or she’s just being a cat….

Don’t excluded pupils - simple. Maybe we can learn from the 60/70s when as far as I am aware it never happened.

Not that I necessarily agree with Khan getting a knighthood but the same groups are petitioning against it.

You are aware of the woman who successfully sued McDonald’s when she burnt herself spilling her coffee? My other fav is a US judge ruling that boneless chicken can have bones in it.

Blimey, does the battle of the Somme happen every 28 days? I must have missed that. Better rewrite the history books.

That wasn’t my point.

Voting for an independent typically means the incumbent wins. So if you want to get rid of a particular party you have to vote strategically. So please tell me what is your “out of the box” thinking on this?

This happens every winter but Covid has made people more aware of it. It amazes me that after the pandemic, people still go to work when ill “ it’s only a cold”. No one learns particularly employers.

Much better to learn Latin I say!

I haven’t touched vinyl since the advent of cd’s. Never could stand the “snap crackle and pop”. The rest of your hifi will determine the warmth of the sound.
comment in response to post
Apparently the sound is even warmer on a wax cylinder.

Obviously the search was done by an employee who was on the “b” ark (see Douglas Adams, hitch hikers guide to the galaxy if you wish to understand the reference).

It’s a lot longer- go back to the 1900’s.

Why stop at Musk? Let’s add all those “independent think tank” and “Tufton St.” donations to the Tory party into the mix too.

Can anyone name one privatised public service where there has actually been an improvement (ignoring shareholder value)?
