Seeing alot of cars which don't appear to be your typical unmarked Police cars with solely blue lights in areas with traffic lights. Might be mistaken but are people modding their cars to speed through traffic. (VW transporter the oddest I've seen) Will have to see if the drivers are uniformed

My fairly new YouTube channel only has 44 subscribers. If you could subscribe, I'd be very grateful. As a reward, you get to see vids like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynLA... #Cycling #TrafficFree #WillCycle

Eurgh it's going to be rough in work today 27°C with no Aircon and equipment spitting out heat in a poorly insulated metal box with PPE. I think I'll need copious amounts of water today.

I know it's algorithm rubbish, the amount of people complaining on FB about the Dutch reach to open car doors is mad... the stories focus on cyclists being doored, but but it would immensely help people who open doors into motorised traffic. Click bait is all they have, don't need to apply reasoning

Sunday morning bimble out

Oh crumbs, I seem to have lost one of my cycling gloves 🧤😢 They were getting a bit stretched out and freyed but I still liked them.

Feels very stormy, but just come outside and the temperature drop from the Few hours ago is remarkable.... that and the wind has got up a bit

Happy 10th Birthday to @cyclinguk.bsky.social 's the Big Bike Revival issuu.com/ctc_cyclists... Got my testimony featured.

I've been so busy today that I managed to blow straight past a morning coffee and lunch break without realising and now getting out of work 45 mins later.... I'm famished now

Well managed to avoid the rain today, but enjoying a trek up Moel Famau. Had to challenge myself with the steep climb. Stunning views as always but blowing a gale

Right spoke is fixed, disc brake and cassette reattached, tube and tyre installed, now to sit and true it with a film in the background A learning experience would do it again (although hopefully not taking 3 weeks), although I've got a Brompton adventuring bug (will save for solo adventures)

31 miles and 1hr 20mins later I'm home, there was only 3 instances of drivers not seeing a huge amount of congestion ahead and ploughing straight into the back of another car.... In broad daylight... on dry roads.... In places you would expect a queue to form. Start seeing and not just looking

FFS...

If its too fast to pedal, it's too fast to be legal.... I can pedal to 25mph (for a short time) but I can therefore claim it can reach 25mph. If you want to say its an illegal electric motorbike... Then say that!

Woke up 10minites late this morning and completely knocked my morning out of whack. I'm just on a northern train instead of the usual TfW and for some reason the blue doesn't feel right.... Let's and got a transfer dash to make rather than a nice leisurely coffee stop

Having an "if everything is a priority, but then nothing is" kind of week. Can tell there was no one in my position for close to two months

Learnt a valuable lesson..... Don't drop spoke nipples into your wheel.... Although 30 minutes of rattling and jabbing an Allen key with tape it's finally free from its prison

Well I felt like I could fix my broken spoke today and learn a new skill... After the spokes arrived, but now looks like I need some new tools... Need to find a cassette tool that fits a 21mm Shimano CS-HG50 8-speed cassette 11-34T cassette and Google is no help Should have gone to a shop

Trying to decide if the weather will be nice enough to join in on a charity ride this weekend and actually enjoy it. .... Or just do my own thing

Came across a cyclist on the dual carriageway after leaving work today (nothing wrong with that... I just wouldn't want to do it) but shame on the other drivers who squeezed by them to avoid changing to lane 2.... The road wasn't even busy 🤦

Pit stop en route after 15 mi on the Brompton, but keeping up generally with the Gravel bikes even if I was dropping off slightly on the uphills towards the end here
