The major parties don't have the moral courage to protect the people and places we love. This election is an opportunity to vote for a candidate who will. Minority govt may be the only thing that forces the Govt to put 🇦🇺ns ahead of vested interests. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

will the next be the last fair election in australia? another ad from the australien gov’t that’s surprisingly honest… @thejuicemedia.bsky.social www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kYI...

Well worth a read. This is one of the biggest media companies in the world plotting to sow division in Australia at a time of heightened concerns about what the government loves to call “social cohesion”. Where is the outrage from the government? Where are the repercussions for the perpetrators?

News Corp in Australia are running campaigns to try and incite violence towards Jewish people, and film / report on the incidents - this attempt was botched and now the internal documents planning the provocation in News Corp's system are leaked @crikey.com.au www.crikey.com.au/2025/02/14/n...

For decades Australians have been told a lie. We’ve been told that only the major parties can govern. But do you feel like they’ve been solving the problems we face? As a voter said, “It’s a choice between sh*t, and sh*tter.” #auspol #IndependenceWorks #ZoeDaniel

the major parties have seen their primary votes fall from 96% in 1975 to 68% in 2022. they had two options to arrest the decline: 1. win back trust with good governance & good policy 2. rig the system tonight they chose to rig the system. a dark day for australian democracy.

This election the old way of doing things is done. It’s time for the Era of Independence. ● Ending the siege on income-taxed Australians. ● Universal early childhood education & care. ● A full commitment to the renewable energy transition. ● A national housing accord. ● No more gambling ads.

It is disgraceful that instead of promoting international law, Australia’s top law officer is trying to repair relations with a foreign government found by major human rights organisations to be committing genocide. www.smh.com.au/politics/fed...

Genocide. Israel should be banned from all international forums, events, sporting competitions. Trade with Israel should be embargoed. Anyone associated with the IDF should be denied visas.

Australia’s housing affordability crisis is not that difficult to solve: increase supply and lower demand by ending the incentives that treat housing as an investment vehicle rather than someone’s home. Now if only we had a government brave enough to do it.

No nation state is above criticism. You can criticise Israel's actions and policies without it being anti-semitic. It does not make Jewish people safer by conflating criticism of Israel with anti-semitism.

Love this post ❤️

The sad and inevitable truth is in another 10 years, when it is all said and done and it is irrefutable Israel committed a genocide in Palestine, there will be many a handwringing think piece from those who defend Israel's actions now, claiming 'we didn't know'. They know. Remember that they knew.

The most horrendous, harmful stuff I've seen on social media this year has been the countless atrocities carried out by Israel and supported by its Western allies, like us. I would have opted for more pressure to end that, instead of just banning the ability for kids to become aware of the horror.

New Zealand drama #AfterTheParty on #channel4 is absolutely superb. #PeterMullan is his usual magnificent self but it's the actress playing his wife- #RobynMalcolm- who stands out. What an incredible performance!
