I have an ex who detransitioned and has now made it to the ex-gay celibacy style self-loathing. It's a mindfuck to see someone go full circle that way, and I genuinely feel bad for them. Just wish they weren't so desperate for another book deal that they're bringing others down with them.

I was looking for Mohamed's account and could not find it at first - he was banned again. He is a real person. His farm is in the area designated a military buffer zone in the ceasefire, so unlike many others, he's not allowed to return and start rebuilding. He grows plants next to his tent for now.
