I asked for chill pill for the root canal treatment tho and he actually prescribed it to me and didn't say anything about chaperone which surprised me but if I can get home by myself drunk I can handle this

That's only if you opt for the chill pill, which I didn't, I was just out of it from hours in the chair and the strong pain killer. Session 2 I opted for the chill pill and was chaperoned

I got to tell the story about the blood taxi again (the time I got my wisdom teeth removed and was so fucked up in the taxi home but talked to the driver the whole way not realizing my mouth was full of blood like a vampire)

I'm used to doctors not figuring out shit and telling you to take paracetamol but now I have to pay more than 2000 euro/year for this privilege, and DENTAL ISN'T COVERED like please, this is too expensive for existing

I think in scandi land we only know of the cookies, since moving to the netherlands I now know of biscoff milkshake, ice cream, brownies, bread spread...they do everything with it and it's excellent

She has 3 children already :D but I have considered chopping the whole stem and trying to propagate that, and letting the old stem try to regrow. Root system seems to be good..

Ahh my alocasia tiny dancer had some root rot! I think I got most of it so hope it will pull through. I was repotting that one as well as my alocasia frydek into self watering planters because they're both fussy little bitches. So it's sink or swim now!

Yeah I'm not gonna class it as "good" but the other movies in the franchise has been so weak in comparison I didn't even remember anything hahaha this one I actually watched which surprised me

I think I like that it was really self contained. Bunch of other movie monsters but everything was explained. Kong knows to cooperate with humans. Godzilla and Kong will fight when meeting. The little mute girls people came from an island that was destroyed. All in there
comment in response to

Right?? I was really invested in Kong making friends with the other monkeys actually. Dude had to go to the dentist, like he's been through it. Let him have a little friend as a treat

It has a trash review score but it came out the same time as Godzilla Minus One apparently, and yeah people are gonna prefer the other one when watching back to back! But that's not what Empire is, right..just a big monkey dragon spectacle

but time to put on a podcast and get to work. I got a small golden pothos (I think) that just never thrived and is quite leggy so it's time for the chop and prop. I'll prop it together with my chili plant which needs to be chopped for "too big now, you monster" reasons

I mean. climate change will probably create the biggest refugee crisis ever seen in modern times, that's gonna be pretty geopolitical

*looks up from the climate change crisis I've been in continually for what, a decade* hm?
comment in response to

Exactly! It feels like simply not resolving big issues and ignoring them is the normal thing to do in the world now but like, covid for example still bothers ME. Climate change still bothers me. War, fascism, genocide, death of the internet. Can we not tick off one box or what

Yeah like why do I have to be an adult while techbros are destroying the world?!? Hope you find some energy as well!!
comment in response to

Honestlyyyy that would send me over the edge too right now. I hope it will be resolved without too much hassle! It helps to know I'm not alone, I'm feeling really weak getting knocked over by something "minor" but it's everything plus the minor thing..
