One thing I know is that protestors would rather be doing literally anything else. Tear gas sucks, flash bangs suck, having armed thugs hit you with a stick or a shield sucks. It’s not fun but nobody was doing anything about it. These people have no shame, they aren’t suddenly gonna feel bad
