Thinking about when I demoed To a T in December. I turned to Keita Takahashi and said that I love that he's so committed to making oddball games that go off the beaten path and asked what draws him to that philosophy. He looked at me very sadly and said "I was trying to make a normal one this time."

Oh man, for years I swore GameCube Animal Crossing was my favorite of the series. But messing around with it now in 2025 is really opening my eyes. Barebones doesn’t even cover it when compared to the 3DS and Switch games. It seems borderline unfinished, ha! Still having a good time, though!

Oh man, StarFox Assault is….not great. 😂 Finished the Main Story this morning. I’m not sure what made them have most of the game be on foot combat. The controls for it are ROUGH. I’d love to see it ported/remade with Splatoon controls, I think it’d play great! Never gonna happen, though. 😅

Finished Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance a couple days ago. I’d put it in top 5 of the series for me. That said, the ending is the most underwhelming. I couldn’t believe it. 😂 Still, had a great time! Hoping I can try the sequel soon.
