I waffle back and forth between this and "It's your power; not his!" I think MHA might be bimodal.

I can't believe I never put that together over the years, but now that you mention it I can't un-hear it. Thank you for this gift of knowledge.

She's not the only one.

I'm not saying you can't have that thought; I'm saying you should have some consideration for other people and do some sleuthing yourself before asking an artist "Why does your art look like slop?" Don't be so visceral in your persecution of AI slop that you do harm to actual creative people.

I'm saying they could have checked the artist's profile or Googled Nico Robin and answered it themselves rather than asking a dismissive question and then wondering why the artist got irritated with them. Even after the answer, they still said "your art looks like AI slop." That's demoralizing.

Okay, but think of it from the artist's perspective. If you put a lot of work into something, having someone ask "Did you put a lot of work into this or just type some words and have a machine do it for you?" can be frustrating. Their post right before this was a work-in-progress, too.

I feel like every time I learn who created an animated sequence I remember for being particularly awesome, the vast majority of the time it turns out to have been either Spencer Wan or James Baxter.

Not the same, but kinda gives me similar vibes to an old classic. m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5...

That's a fantastic interpretation of Akia's afro star puffs.

So I guess wonderful, whimsical, wholesome little things that bring simple joy and affirm your humanity can still happen, huh?

I appreciate the absolute silliness of this.

I don't know why, but when I read "stick," before I even got to the next word I thought the follow-up might be "it to the fridge." I don't think that's how most artists celebrate their work, but this does deserve celebrating.

Greg seems more likeable.

Honestly, it would be a disservice not to.

So this is how I find out you're on BlueSky, huh? This show really surprised me. I thought it was gonna be visually impressive but I wasn't expecting to be so invested in the plot. They had a banger episode 1 and episode 2 was even better. I'm looking forward to more!

The proportions feel a little off but the vibes are immaculate.

Don't worry, it seems you're in good company.

I love that expression. That coy "Hmm, I wonder what I'm going to do with this fireball?" face that suggests she knows exactly what she's gonna do with that fireball.

Nintendo giving the people what they want.

There seems to be some consensus on this. I am not immune, either.
