Seems biggest wastage of tax payer money taking place right now by current regime is, fighting all the lawsuits for an wrecking ball approach along with weaponization/politicization of agencies that every firing/action is expected to be challenged as retaliatory. And they have nothing too lose -

Well Senate Dems hardly could do anything to stop some of the worst candidates get where they shouldn't be, so nothing can be expected from them on filibuster front. Last time a single republican senator held up military nominees, & Dem ones have no spine to fight theintercept.com/2025/02/17/e...
