It’s largely the fault of the Israeli state for committing genocide, but I still think it’s bad how many people on the left now believe every Israeli is ontologically tainted as a human being, not just part of an unjust state. More than they feel that way about Americans or Germans!

Disband ICE and disband the Orwellian sounding Dep’t of Homeland Security. We survived over 200 years without either, which were created in the wake of 9/11. While 9/11 demanded reforms, these agencies have grown too strong and too callous toward our liberties.

"Woke" -- changing norms through social pressure -- is not, contra the reactionary centrists, another form of tyranny. It's the *alternative* to tyranny. It's new norms winning through the marketplace of ideas. The alternative is what we see now: enforcing norms via the threat of state violence.
