Flea & Firkin in Manchester and occasionally the Phoenix in Denmark Hill for me. It was famous from student pub crawls in the early '90s where we 'could remember everything before the Dogbolter'.
A lovely ex-Firkin brewer recreated a keg of it for my last birthday party.

Have you tried an all wheat beer to see if it is better? Torrrside's Sto Lat would be the obvious example.
