A few years ago I used to call people "you big goon" as an endearing term mostly funny, bc the moniker "goon" makes you think of a big loaf, or a big dude that's kinda silly or lovably dumb and I thought it was cute and funny, but now... "Big goon" doesn't quite convey my sentiment these days.
