Also: Canada is a NATO member, right? A US military operation on Canadian soil would presumably trigger a NATO response. Same for one in Greenland (Denmark). I did not have the US-Canadian border as the potential WWIII trigger point on my bingo card.

It's almost like losing a family member. We have an oak tree in our yard that is a similar size and so do the neighbors across the street (I think you can see it in the pic). Feels like one of their siblings is being murdered. 😱

I thought about that, but were just outside any city limits. I don’t know for sure but I doubt the county has permit laws since there is a lot of farmland nearby. I think he just wants to say he did it all by himself.

I keep waiting for a scream and us having to call 911, but so far he’s managed. Branches haven’t put a hole is roof or ripped off any gutters. I did notice he moved his brand new truck - usually parked in his driveway - half a house away on the street. You know, just in case.
