I am slowly turning this account into a Harris Dickinson fan account but I will be posting art soon

Works well for a slowburn from best friends to lovers but Heron and Alexia should remain platonic yet close, even at the end of the show, but I'm glad they subverted the story with Heron and Seraphim in the Elysium fields with their mother which is honestly a great scene.

I mean, just give her more power and agency. And for other characters, I have positives with Heron, Seraphim and others, but I prefer seeing male and female characters being friends at this point but I don't like it when they're going to be romantic lovers. I mean Seraphim and Gorgo—

Should have been Persephone's doing so she can please Hades to increase her power to create more armies on his behalf and Hades is quite reluctant to take over Mount Olympus because of Persephone. She could be the mastermind in S2 and be Seraphim's mentor before returning to her mother in spring.

Mother to see how terrifying Persephone is. Like, she could do that when she's with her mother and becomes a bit like a plot twist villain like Omni-Man. The perks of being a goddess of spring and the Queen of the Underworld can make Persephone crave for power in the show and the spores part is—

Mother so she can be with him forever while raising the kids" which is just infuriating to watch. Like, I want to see Persephone's duties in the Underworld and she was treated as an equal to Hades when it comes to her position. Like, make her the mastermind of the spore poisoning instead of her—

But overall, Persephone in the show is just bland and used as a plot device for Demeter and Hades which is the problem for both S2 and S3. I just want her to see more of her duties as the Queen of the Underworld instead of being reduced as "Hades' wife who wanted independence from her overbearing—

Persephone wasn't revived at all after Demeter kept her soul in the show. I mean the souls of Zeus and Gorgo (the priestess) were revived before coming to the judges but I do think it's best to keep her in cornucopia but they should have done that after war against the Titans.

Problems of Helluva Boss where female characters were potentially robbed. Persephone in the show is robbed in both S2 and S3 and also she was used as a damsel in a distress for seeing Hades suffer which is quite icky at worst. Even though they k*lled her off in the show, I am still annoyed that

I'm always a Demeter defender and seeing people portraying her as an overbearing/abusive mom rubs me in the wrong way

That's what I call dedication for focusing about your OCs' story for a very long time that connects your experiences. I have spent time working and rewriting my WIP not just for researching historical accuracy, but also to focus on the characters and their story.

To end this thread, I do not rant about shows that often here despite I have criticisms on Lore Olympus, Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. If you want a Greek Mythology based show on N*tflix, watch Kaos (as someone who is into Greek Mythology and British comedy).

Like, I wanted Persephone to be the one behind the spores instead of her mother. I just wanted to see Persephone's terrifying side, but she was used as a hostage in the season finale which is just a let down for me.

And for Persephone, her character is reduced as a poor flower goddess who wanted to be independent from her mother so she can be with her husband. I'm just tired plus I don't see sh-t (or her duties) when it comes to her role as the Queen of the Underworld.

For Hades, they wanted to make him sympathetic villain while making him not wanting to be in the Underworld. I mean him being involved in the Olympian shenanigans is quite modern and Hades doesn't gaf about it.

Like, you can have a Hades and Persephone myth retelling as a romance without making Demeter worse. Besides Demeter, I wanted to talk about how Hades and Persephone are handled there because I have a lot of things to day about them. It's like Eros and Psyche again but with their names attached.

Like, they should have make Demeter a supportive mother to Persephone or thank Hades that Persephone is safe in the Underworld because Persephone had unwanted suitors. Instead, Demeter sent Ares to marry Persephone (and worse, they made Ares misogynistic unlike myths involving Ares).

Also this is about writing a historical fiction novella/novel but there are name and plot/routine changes

Bonus: One of the pictures of me rewriting The Viscount and The Playwright by adding dialogues to flesh out my characters (not necessarily but kind of needed)
