Reminds me of Newton's approximation of impact depth. Speed doesn't matter, density does. But I guess irl speed still matters.

Oh, dumping tea down into the sea like in the Boston tea party would be slightly to the left of the middle.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_br... YMMV, some tea taste awful when cold brewed, some meh, some actually not bad. But you need much longer to do so.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_br... Also, you should heat up the tea pot first to keep the water temperature hot enough for the tea leaves if you are hot brewing.

Hmm... I remember reading something like that when I knew of the DE-STAR about it being able to work as a laser propulsion system. www.deepspace.ucsb.edu/projects/dir... www.deepspace.ucsb.edu/projects/sta...

I do not maintain my account for followers and if you judge someone by their number of followers, you are just showing how you are not logically thinking about things and just plead to popularism.

You can stop replying your own preference of believe, but you cannot answer the fact about the discrepancies on the card which isn't common in Tolkien's habit.

For example, this is how Tolkien put his date, before and after that event.

People make fake stuff before the internet. There's just too American on this card to feel like something Tolkien made.
comment in response to post
Why would Tolkien use American style date instead of British style date in the UK?
comment in response to post
Also, why would Tolkien use American date order and not British? 21st Nov 1945, not Nov 21st 1945
comment in response to post
This is fake though. First, the coming of age of C.J.R. Tolkien, which was born in 1924 is not 1945. Brits don't do 21 years old as coming of age but 18. Whoever made this is probably American and didn't think of other cultural practices and assumed everyone did the American one.

We just had that last week in Hong Kong and the week before. You just need some wind to blow the rain on you when the clouds are fairly far away.

Funny that my secondary school(which was founded as the Anglo-Chinese College[literal name at the time]) was founded in 1818, older than both of them. Well, not in England but still.

Yes, the old design is still better than the new one. While some of the concepts of the new anime ship design is good(considering how same line of ship look more similar) most of them are overly extravagant. Funny that I have not even watched the old anime, and just a novel reader.

When in doubt, C4.

The classic versions are better than the new anime version, the new ones are too extravagant.

Are these nuclear powered? I don't see solar panels but also very little heat radiators.

Fusion propelled.
